I heard that the ace card for the 2019 starter deck was going to be Playmaker's new ace monster. I figured that as long as it had 2500 attack points that I would be fine with that. However, after a few months of waiting and wondering, I'm disappointed...while I don't think having a retrained version of Decode Talker is bad, the fact that it has only 2300 attack points (when the past Yugioh heroes had ace monsters with 2500 attack points) means (at least to me) that Playmaker has no ace monster anymore, and that Vrains is getting a whole lot of disrespect from Konami and the show's creators. And considering how split the Yugioh community is right now, this reveal does not give me much confidence in the future of the Yugioh franchise.

I got an idea!
Remember how in the last post I said how Firewall Dragon got banned? Well I got an idea that might work for everyone! In the original Yugioh anime Yugi showed off retrained versions of some of his earlier monsters (like Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight for the original Gaia the Fierce Knight). So here's my idea. Konami could make a retrained version of Firewall Dragon that wasn't so broken and overpowered. That way I could still see Firewall Dragon in the anime, and Konami could get money from making and releasing a retrained version of Firewall Dragon, that would never have to get banned! So what do you think?

More good than bad.
I got some news for you all (some bad, but mostly good). First I'll give you the bad news. As of the 3rd of December this year, Firewall Dragon will be banned from official Yugioh Card Game play! That means that we'll probably never see Firewall Dragon in the anime ever again! Now I know there are good reasons for this, but Firewall Dragon is one of my favorite looking cards, so the fact that I'll never see Playmaker use his ace monster ever again does make me a little sad. On a bright note though, I've got more good news than bad! The good news is these 4 things. First, Megaman 11 seems to be doing good, so there maybe more Megaman games in the near future! Second, Vent from Megaman ZX is in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a Spirit! Third, Kamen Rider Decade is going to appear in Kamen Rider Zi-o's series for at least a little bit, starting in Zi-o's next episode! and finally, Misty and Brock are going to be in the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime for a little bit again (and with new outfits to boot)! So while the news about Firewall Dragon is sad, there are a whole lot more reasons for me to be happy!

Looks promising...
I just saw a trailer for the upcoming live action Detective Pikachu movie. And I gotta say, that the CGI for all the Pokemon look great. I think it's a good balance between realistic and animated. This actually makes me interested in seeing the movie for myself (when it comes out next year of course).

In case you are wondering...
Yes folks, I do watch Megaman: Fully Charged, and I like it! It helps scratch that itch I've had for Megaman that needed scratching for a long time. Add the Megaman Legacy Collections (for Classic and X), great fanmade Megaman games, and the upcoming Megaman 11 into the mix, and I'm on cloud nine!

Legends galore!
With Evol finally destroyed, Kamen Rider Build's T.V. series comes to a close. While Build's T.V. run will fondly be remembered, I'm looking forward to the next Kamen Rider series. Kamen Rider Zi-O (the title character/rider) will meet up with past riders, and gain new forms based on them. Since I liked this idea from Kamen Rider Ghost's Legendary Rider Eyecon mini-web-series, I think I'm going to love Zi-O's T.V. series (I just hope it doesn't end like Decade's did). Speaking of Legendary Heroes, the Power Rangers 25th anniversary episode is finally out and available for everyone to see. It's also known as Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel episode 10, and in it, not only do we see alot of actors and actress' reprise their Power Ranger roles (with all their ranger forms and powers intact) But Tommy also uses a new Power Morpher called the Master Morpher! With it, Tommy not only used his Black Dino Thunder, Red Zeo, White Tiger, and Green Dragonzord ranger forms at will, but he also summoned the White Falconzord as well! All in all, it was another fun Power Rangers team-up episode!

A real delight!
Yesterday, I saw Disney's Christoper Robin with my family, and I loved it! I'm not going to try and spoil it for you, but if you are a fan of Winnie the Pooh, or just want to see a family friendly film, this is a movie for you!
