By the power of Grayskull!

I was one of those 80's kids that grew up with He-Man and She-Ra. So yeah, The Masters Of The Universe franchise holds a special place in my heart. So of course I went to see the new Masters Of The Universe movie just today. And I gotta say...I love it! Granted, some of the languge is crude, but it's still easily one of my top 5 favorite movies ever. Anyone who is a fan of said franchise should go see it if they can. Especally if you're one of those 80's kids like me who saw the original cartoon.

Here we go again!

I finally managed to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie earier today. While I admit that it's not as good as the first one, I still really enjoyed the movie, and recommend that if you're a Mario fan, that you should see it too.

Hail to the king of the kremlings!

Since I grew up with games like the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy on the Super Nintendo, I have always seen King K. Rool as Donkey Kong's greatest foe. So when I heard some info (that turned out to be a rumor not too long ago), about how Nintendo didn't like the kremlings, I was hurt. While the vikings from tropical freeze were okay, the bad kongs from jungle beat were kinda hallow villans, and the tikis from Donkey Kong Country Retruns were a joke. K. Rool and the kremlings were a good balance of funny and dangerous that people have a hard time creating nowadays, so the idea that Nintendo seemed to not like them really bugged me. When Donkey Kong Bananza first came out, I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it, since it didn't seem to have any villans worth fighting...however, when I found out that Nintendo's comments about the kremlings were mistranslated, and more importanly...that King K. Rool and the kremlings were in Bananza (with the appropriate respect and tributes that game creators can give to classic characters)...I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT THE GAME! Because I actually had a gaming goal WORTH  pursuing, batting a worthy foe like King K. Rool for the first time in a long time. Other people have said that K. Rool's return is the best comeback story ever! And I absolutely agree with them. Cause unlike most villans nowadays, foes like K. Rool are actually good at being bad.

Mega Evolution!

Well, here I am again (after more than 12 months), but I finally have Pokemon Legends ZA, and am even playing it's mega dimension dlc. While I admit the game isn't super amazing, I do like it, and am enjoying it for the most part. I even got myself an alpha Raichu, so then I can mega evolve it into Mega Raichu Y (which is my favorite Mega Raichu by the way). So if you aren't struggling with the prices of the Nintendo Switch 2, or it's games, I say go right on ahead and buy both Legends ZA and it's dlc, cause I feel it's worth playing.

Terastallize!

With the upcoming Pokemon Legends A-Z game bringing back Mega Evolutions, I felt the need to talk a little about the Terastal Phenomenon from Scarlet and Violet. Namely how I feel about it. I'll admit, that like many vocal Pokemon fans, I find Mega Evolution to be my favorite Pokemon game mechanic. However, After playing through Scarlet, I find Terastallizing to be a solid second pick for me, over both Z moves, and Dynamaxing. Why is that you might ask...well I've got about 4 reasons. 1st, any Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, can do it. 2nd, you can adjust your Pokemon's Tera type if you wish. 3rd, it's not limited to 1 attack or 3 turns, like Z moves and Dynamax is. And 4th, Once you evolve your Tera Orb into a Stellar Orb (by meeting Terapagos), you don't need to recharge your orb after every battle you use it in at a Pokemon Center. So while not as great as Mega Evolution, Terastallizing was a step in the right direction when it comes to Pokemon game mechanics. So I have to admit that I'll miss Terastallizing, when it's no longer available in future games. But at least we'll get Mega Evolutions again in Legends A-Z, right?

It's...showtime!

Recently, I bought the new Princess Peach Showtime game on the Nintendo Switch...and I like it. Sure it's not super challenging, or something that everyone will enjoy, but for those that enjoy stuff like Princess Peach being the main playable character in a game, will enjoy this. So I hope we get more of this in the future.

Let's-a-go, do the Mario!

Today, I saw the new Super Mario Bros. Movie...AND I LOVE IT!!! Already my new favorite movie of ALL time! While there are a couple of jump scares that could surprise some younger viewers, I would still recommend it for the whole family. And I would ESPECALLY recommend that Mario Bros. fans of all ages see this movie. This is one of those video game based movies that you don't want to miss or ignore!

Legends never die!

I finally managed to see clips of the newest Kamen Rider movie that's called: Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations. For the movie, Maito Fujioka, son of  Hiroshi Fujioka, portrayed his father's famous role of Takeshi Hongo (a.k.a. Kamen Rider 1 himself)! As I admired his work for the movie (which I think Maito did great with by the way), it got me thinking...As long as we respect the origin of something such as a franchise like Kamen Rider, and do our best with it, then no matter how much things change in life, certain things (and people) can stand the test of time. Meaning if present generations let themselves be touched by the good of past generations, and then do the same for future generations, Then something or someone good can live and touch people forever!

Lighting just struck twice!

They say that lighting never strikes twice, however in the case of the Sonic The Hedgehog movies, that has been proven false. The 1st one was great, and the 2nd one (which I just saw in theaters) was better! I won't spoil anything, but Sonic fans need to see both!

A certain point of view...

Hi everyone! It's me again! Things have been busy, and most of what I want to say, I do on YouTube. So those are 2 reasons why I haven't posted in so long. Anyway, I have something to say, that I feel can only be said here. Remember when I said I would never get/play Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild? Well, not only did I get it a few weeks ago, but I beat the main story a couple of days ago. Why the sudden change you might ask? Well It's because my family members who do own and play it, taught me to look at it from a different point of view. Since it isn't a typical Zelda game, don't look at it as a Zelda game, but something different, yet interesting. Thanks to their support, experience, and a players guide for the whole thing (which I only used once in a while), I finally did it. If someone kept bugging me about it, I would have never got it just despite them. But since I have a helpful and supportive family, I finally found somethings about it to like, and enjoy it. Granted some of the reasons why I didn't want to touch the game at first still bug me a bit. But they are no longer game breakers for me. As for the squeal...Well we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Less is more.

Sorry I haven't posted anything here for a while. The thing is, nowadays, if I have something to say, I'm able to do it on Youtube. In this case though, I thought I would make an exception. In the most recent Kamen Rider show, Zero-One, Zero-One's final form was Kamen Rider Zero-Two. Like most people, I was kinda disappointed that Zero-One didn't get a final form similar to his show's secondary rider Vulcan. Where Vulcan got a form that contained the powers of all the other shows forms up to that point, Zero-Two was just a buffed up Zero-One with red markings. But things have changed a bit now. Not only is Zero-Two powerful, but the red markings of the suit are a homage to Kamen Rider Nigo, the second Kamen Rider to ever exist (who is a legend in his own right). Anything that pays homage to someone or something good is great in my book. So yeah, I've warmed up to Zero-Two. If you feel differently, then that is fine, just be nice and respectable about it.

A change of heart.

I admit, when I first heard that Gamefreak was not going to bring back the National Dex for Pokemon Sword and Shield, I was hurt. So much so that I wasn't going to get Sword and Shield. But then not too long ago, someone replied to one of my comments saying something about how The Pokemon Company was the reason why Gamefreak did that. I'm not 100% sure if this someone had the right information or not, but the comment did make me realize that Gamefreak might be just as much of a victim in all this as we are (if not more so), and I therefore shouldn't completely shut out Pokemon from my life. Plus, after this realization, I've realized that even though Sword and Shield aren't the Pokemon games I was expecting, they are games worth playing. So I'm going to at least get Pokemon Shield, and enjoy playing it for what it is. If you have different opinions on the Pokemon Sword and Shield debate, that is perfectly fine, just be nice about it, and DON'T attack anyone who has a different opinion than you.

The pass couple of days have been great! Not only did I see Pokemon Detective Pikachu (Which was a great movie by the way), but Playmaker won his latest duel with a brand new Firewall Dragon (known as Firewall Dragon Darkfluid)!!! I'M SUPER HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!

Another passing-through Kamen Rider returns!

Sorry about my last post, I was just frustrated that's all. On a brighter note, not only is Decade reappearing in Zi-o's series, but so is Kamen Rider Diend! Like Decade, Diend has a Neo driver (a type of Kamen Rider transformation device), which means he can summon riders that have appeared since the end of Decade's original show! Not sure who Diend is going to summon with it yet, but considering the kind of treasure seeker he is, he's no doubt got his eyes on the ridewatches that Zi-o and co. use.

I'm disappointed...

I heard that the ace card for the 2019 starter deck was going to be Playmaker's new ace monster. I figured that as long as it had 2500 attack points that I would be fine with that. However, after a few months of waiting and wondering, I'm disappointed...while I don't think having a retrained version of Decode Talker is bad, the fact that it has only 2300 attack points (when the past Yugioh heroes had ace monsters with 2500 attack points) means (at least to me) that Playmaker has no ace monster anymore, and that Vrains is getting a whole lot of disrespect from Konami and the show's creators. And considering how split the Yugioh community is right now, this reveal does not give me much confidence in the future of the Yugioh franchise.

I got an idea!

Remember how in the last post I said how Firewall Dragon got banned? Well I got an idea that might work for everyone! In the original Yugioh anime Yugi showed off retrained versions of some of his earlier monsters (like Swift Gaia the Fierce Knight for the original Gaia the Fierce Knight). So here's my idea. Konami could make a retrained version of Firewall Dragon that wasn't so broken and overpowered. That way I could still see Firewall Dragon in the anime, and Konami could get money from making and releasing a retrained version of Firewall Dragon, that would never have to get banned! So what do you think?

More good than bad.

I got some news for you all (some bad, but mostly good). First I'll give you the bad news. As of the 3rd of December this year, Firewall Dragon will be banned from official Yugioh Card Game play! That means that we'll probably never see Firewall Dragon in the anime ever again! Now I know there are good reasons for this, but Firewall Dragon is one of my favorite looking cards, so the fact that I'll never see Playmaker use his ace monster ever again does make me a little sad. On a bright note though, I've got more good news than bad! The good news is these 4 things. First, Megaman 11 seems to be doing good, so there maybe more Megaman games in the near future! Second, Vent from Megaman ZX is in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a Spirit! Third, Kamen Rider Decade is going to appear in Kamen Rider Zi-o's series for at least a little bit, starting in Zi-o's next episode! and finally, Misty and Brock are going to be in the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime for a little bit again (and with new outfits to boot)! So while the news about Firewall Dragon is sad, there are a whole lot more reasons for me to be happy!

Looks promising...

I just saw a trailer for the upcoming live action Detective Pikachu movie. And I gotta say, that the CGI for all the Pokemon look great. I think it's a good balance between realistic and animated. This actually makes me interested in seeing the movie for myself (when it comes out next year of course).
