Spring break? Woo-hoo!

Since tomorrow is General Conference, and I have all of next week off thanks to spring break, I won't be posting anything til about April 8th. So I'll see you later, and hope you have a nice spring break too.

And so we have come to the end of Yu-gi-oh Arc-V. While it may not have been as good as the past Yu-gi-oh shows, Arc-V was still a 100 times better than the Pokemon XY (and later Z) anime. Plus Arc-V payed various tributes to the Yu-gi-oh franchise as a whole. From using both old and new summoning methods together (like Pendulum with Xyz, Synchro, and Fusion) to having alternate counterparts of fan favorite characters appearing and dueling every once in awhile. Also having dragons as some of the main character's ace monster's was pretty nice. In short, I liked Yu-gi-oh Arc-V, and will remember it fondly. Of course that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to Vrains, cause I am.

Final dragon combos!

In the newest (and last) episode of Yu-gi-oh Arc-V, Yuya combined his Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and Clear Wing Synchro Dragon to create Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon and Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon (similar to how he combined Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon to create either Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon or Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon)! While the new dragons look cool, and have sweet effects, it is a pity that they showed up in the last episode of Arc-V. I would have loved to have seen more of them. What about you? Go Go Power Rangers!

Yesterday, I saw the new Power Rangers movie. And I liked it! While it isn't for little kids (like the original series was), it IS a must see for Power Ranger fans (like myself)! So if you are a Power Rangers fan, I recommend you go see it! Just remember, it is PG-13 for a few reasons.

It's Morphin Time!

There is a new Power Rangers movie coming out today. And my brother and sister-in-law are going to take me to see it. While it looks different than what I saw during my childhood, I'm willing to give it a chance. Especially since it looks more promising than most movies nowadays. As always, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Maximum Mighty X!

In the newest episode of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Ex-Aid gained a new form call Maximum Mighty X. It may look a bit bulky, but it is powerful. Plus, Ex-Aid will later upgrade this form, kinda like how Kamer Rider Gaim did his Kachidoki Arms into his Kiwami Arms. I for one like this form of Ex-Aid. What about you?

Capcom messed up again...

Back in my younger days, there was a group of Disney cartoon shows that were very popular. Since they always showed up in the afternoon, the T.V. block became known as Disney Afternoons. What's more, Disney, Capcom, and Nintendo worked together to release games based off these shows to the regular Nintendo system, And the games became some of the best Nintendo games ever! Why am I telling you this you may ask? Well it's cause Capcom has just announced the release of the Disney Afternoon Collection. It contains classic Nintendo/Disney/Capcom games such as Ducktales 1 & 2, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers 1 & 2, Talespin, and Darkwing Duck. However, here is where modern day Capcom made another really dumb mistake! The collection is only going to be released onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC, not on the Nintendo Switch (which would make sense since the games were first released on a Nintendo console). Is Capcom making such dumb decisions, just despite me? Or have they forgotten how to put 2 and 2 together?

 

Bittersweet surprise...

In the next episode of Yu-gi-oh Arc-V, Yuya will summon 2 new dragons which look like fusions between Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, and either Starving Venom Fusion Dragon or Clear Wing Synchro Dragon! While this is good news to me, I also found out that the next episode, is also the last. While I knew this was going to happen soon, I'm still going to miss Arc-V...

Two words...BOO YAH!!!

My hopes for Firewall Dragon are now a reality! Not only is it a Link monster, but it also is the ace monster for Yu-gi-oh Vrains main character! While it's a Cyverse-type monster, it's dragon-like enough for me (kinda like Charizard from Pokemon). What about you? What hopes do you have for Yu-gi-oh Vrains?

Today is not only St. Patrick's day (wear green so you don't get pinched), but also my sister's birthday! So if you are friends with her, be sure to wish her a happy birthday!

A nice possibility...

In another picture for the upcoming show Yu-gi-oh Vrains, we can see a new monster called Firewall Dragon. I hope that it's both a link monster, and the ace for the main character. My favorite aces are dragons after all.

Taming the dragons...

In the newest episode of Yu-gi-oh Arc-V, Jack challenged Yuya to duel. More importantly thought, Yuya has managed to summon all 4 dragons during the duel, without Zarc trying to take control of them. Pretty nice if you ask me.

What I like about Super Hero Taisens...

For the past few years in Japan, Kamen Riders and Super Sentai (and sometimes other groups) have teamed up in Super Hero Taisen movies. What I like about Super Hero Taisen movies (which is of course it's biggest draw) Is past actors and actress' reprising their past Super hero roles (mostly Kamen Rider and Super Sentai of course). And of course the upcoming Super Hero Taisen movie is no exception.

What I like about Ex-Aid...

One thing I like about the show Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, is how it feels (at least to me) like a tribute to the video game industry as a whole. For example, Ex-Aid's main form seems to be based off of platforming games of old (like the Mario Bros.). Since I'm a video game player, these kind of things are really fun and exciting for me.

My bad...

Turns out that only certain people with a code, will be able to play Specter Knight's story on the Nintendo Switch right now. For the rest of us with other video game systems, we'll have to wait till April to play as Specter Knight. A pity, since I was hoping to play Specter Knight's story this weekend, but I can wait.

False alarm...

It looks like Yu-gi-oh: The Dark Side Of Dimensions hasn't come out on DVD yet. Oh well, as long as it doesn't take forever like Bonds Beyond Time did, I don't mind the wait.

The Specter's journey...

I think Specter Knight's story mode in Shovel Knight is now available. So if you're a fan of Shovel Knight, I suggest you try it for yourself.

Cool monsters!

In the newest episode of Yu-gi-oh Arc-V, Yuya summoned a cool new Odd-Eyes Dragon called Odd-Eyes Lancer Dragon! While Yuya's friend (and opponent in the episode) summoned Raid Raptor Final Fortress Falcon (which has a design and color scheme like the Emerald and Ruby Weapons from Final Fantasy 7)!  It was a fun little duel if you ask me.

Walk on the wild side...

For the past few days (except Sunday) I've been watching gameplay videos for Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While I like the graphics and open world, I still have concerns about the Hunting and Cooking parts of it. Namely since I'm not good with that kind of stuff in real life, and therefore, Do not find that kind of stuff enjoyable in a Zelda game. Of course this is just my opinion, and if you like that kind of stuff, then you'll enjoy Breath of the Wild.

Me and my family just got back from the Centerpoint Legacy Theatre. Today we saw Mary Poppins, and it was good. Different, but good.

That was disappointing...

Turns out the the "Pokemon movie news" I mentioned yesterday, was just another teaser trailer. Let's hope next time we get Pokemon movie news, it's more "news" worthy.
