Still sick...
It's just as the title says. Thankfully, watching Yuya's most recent duel in the Japanese Yu-gi-oh Arc-V anime, has made me feel a little bit better.

Not again...
My sister was sick earlier this week. And when she got better, me and Mom got what she had. So yeah, I'm sick again, and it stinks!

The moment you've been waiting for...
As I said at the end of Yesterdays post, Link Monsters have one more trick up there sleeves. If you will look at the Link monster card picture below, you will notice that there are arrows around the monster's picture (with some of the arrows lit up). Whichever regular monster zones are being pointed at by the lit up arrows, can be treated as Extra monster zones. Meaning you can summon more than one Extra deck monster directly from the Extra deck! So if you use your Link monsters properly, you can Link zones together, and still summon multiple Extra deck monsters at once!

Link it up!
Along with a upcoming new Yu-gi-oh series and new card game rules, there is going to be a new type of monster and summoning. They are called Link monsters! You summon them from your Extra deck (like Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz monsters) via Link summoning. In order to Link summon, you need to use field monsters (that fit the requirements on the selected Link monsters card text) as Link material. You can also use Link monsters with lower Link numbers (shown next to the Link monsters attack points) to lessen the Link materials that you need for a link summon. Of course since Link monsters first come from the Extra deck, they need to be summoned to the Extra monster card zone first. On the bright side, since Link monsters have no Levels, Ranks, and Defense points, they are unaffected by card effects that target monsters with levels, ranks, and defense points. This also means that Link monsters can't be switched to defense or face down position. Link monsters also have one more trick up their sleeves. It's the thing I hinted at, at the end of yesterday's post. However, you are going to have to wait till tomorrow to find out.

New rules? No big deal.
With Yu-gi-oh Arc V coming to a close, we are not only getting information on the new series (Yu-gi-oh Vrains), but also on the new rules for the card game. First off, the Pendulum Zones have merged with two of the Spell and Trap Zones. Second, each player gets a new Monster card zone called an Extra Monster Zone. This new zone is the only place on the field that you can put Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz monsters when you summon them from the Extra deck. However, if any of these types of monsters are banished or sent to the graveyard (after they have been summoned from the Extra deck to the Extra Monster zone), then special summoned from the graveyard or banishment zone, they are then placed in one of the regular monster zones. While there is another way of having multiple Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz monsters on the field at once, I plan on telling you later this week.

Holiday time again!
My sister just told me that Monday is President's day. So I think I have Monday off. If so, I won't be posting anything Monday. So I'll see you on Tuesday, at the very latest.

Speaking of Digimon...
I just discovered that the next episode of Digimon Adventure Tri will premier in Japanese theaters February 25th. Since it will feature the Dark Masters (Evil Mega Digimon from the first Digimon season) I'm looking forward to it.

More Fire Emblem news...
Another Fire Emblem game that's coming up is called Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It's a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden (a game that was never officially released outside of Japan). Personally, as long as I don't have to choose between 2 families like you had to for Fire Emblem Fates Birthright and Conquest, I'm all for Echoes.

Digimon just keeps getting bigger...
For the past little while now, Japan has been showing a new Digimon show called: Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters. As the name suggests, it features Digimon based on Apps. Nice way to get your Digimon fix, while you are waiting for the next Digimon Adventure Tri episodes if you ask me.

Nothing to report...
Sorry folks, but I've got nothing of interest to post today. I'll think of something to post next week.

Game on!
Remember when I mentioned the web mini series where Kamen Rider Ghost collected Eyecons based on past Kamen Riders? Well Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is going to do pretty much the same thing. While it's going to be shorter than Ghost's, I still like the idea.

So soon?
Yesterday, I found some info that Yugioh: The Dark Side of Dimensions would be released on DVD March 8th. While this could just be a rumor, we won't know until the time comes. I'll let you know when I find out more.

Overflowing memories...
After Zarc was defeated, everything seemed to return to normal. Except that everyone could Pendulum summon, they all lost their memories, and most of all, Zuzu is nowhere to be seen. Thankfully, it looks like everyone is regaining their memories very quickly. However one question remains. When Yuya remembers Zuzu, what will he do next?

A possibility that I'm not ready for...
People have been theorizing that the references for the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games in Sun and Moon mean that remakes of the Diamond and Pearl games are coming soon. Personally, I think the first Pokemon games (Red and Blue/Green) should be remade in the style of Sun and Moon first.

Coming to the Nintendo Switch...
One game I'm looking forward to seeing more of is Super Mario Odyssey on the Nintendo Switch. It's a 3D platformer like the Super Mario Galaxy games (or Super Mario 64), that has you traveling to places not unlike the real world (except Mario's going to visit much nicer places). One thing I'm most interested in is his hat. In Odyssey, it looks like Mario is going to use his hat for more special moves. In any case, this is one game I'm looking forward to.

Ever since yesterday, it's been February. Which means Valentines day is coming up. Better get ready for it people.

Finally...
With the XY(and later Z) seasons of the Pokemon Anime finished, I can finally give my opinion on them. Personally, I found them disappointing. Don't get me wrong, While I liked the many human and Pokemon friends that Ash made in Kalos, Ash's character was bland, Team Rocket was even less funny then they were in the previous seasons, and don't even get me started on how much of a pain Team Flare was in the Anime then they were in the games! Thankfully, the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon seasons show promise.
