Looking better and better...

The more I watch videos of the Japanese version of Kirby Planet Robobot, the more excited I get for the English release. I won't spoil anything, but Kirby fans will love all the references to past Kirby games. I know I do.

Ever have one of those weeks where time seems to fly by? Well for me, it seems to have flown by real fast this week. Has it been like that for you too?

Battle of the beards!

The newest skit of Studio C is called "Most Deadly Pirates". While it has been out for a long time as part of the "First Ever Live Online Taping - #StudioCLive", you can now see it in it's final form. Like any Studio C skit, this is funny stuff you got to see.

Going deep...

In the newest episode of Kamen Rider Ghost, Ghost's friend and fellow Rider Specter, just got a new form. It's called Deep Specter, and as you can see from the pictures below, it does more than just give Specter a new look. In addition to extra strength, it gives him a sword that's kinda like the one Ghost got from his Boost form. Meaning that when Ghost borrows Specter Eyecon's, for his Grateful form, Specter can still help without giving up any power.

Oh well...

Finally saw the duel between Yuya and Kite. While Kite finally discovered that Yuya and co. are not bad guys, Kite left for some reason after he found out. A pity, but then again, even in Zexal, he didn't hang out as much with Yuma and the others. Plus I'm sure we'll see him again. On a bright note, it looks like Alexis will show up in the next episode. Cool right?

Super! Break up!

After Friday's post, I saw clips of the Kamen Rider Drive movie starring Chase (Kamen Rider Chaser), and I enjoyed them. From seeing Chase's transformation into Proto-Drive, to his new Super Mashin Chaser form in action, and ending with the team-up between Kamen Riders Drive and Accel.

Today's the day...

At last, Yu-gi-oh The Dark Side Of Dimensions is finally out in Japanese theaters! Which means that it's only a matter of time before the rest of the world sees the movie too (hopefully in my case, it will be dubbed by the classic 4kids cast)!

One more day...

Tomorrow in Japan, Yu-gi-oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions will be out in theaters! True we are nowhere near Japan (at least I'm not), but still, the closer Japan gets to the movie, the closer the rest of the world gets to it too!

The Duelist of Destiny Hero's returns!

Another character from Yu-gi-oh GX that will appear in Arc-V is Aster Phoenix. While I personally would have preferred someone like Jesse Anderson (one of Jaden's friends from the later seasons of GX) Aster still is a great Yu-gi-oh character, and I am happy for another classic Yu-gi-oh character returning for Yu-gi-oh Arc-V.

A case of mistaken identity...

What would happen if the worlds of Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter came together? Well Studio C answered that question with a funny skit called Lord Of The Potter. In it, Harry Potter (played by Matt) and Gandalf (played by Jason) meet and have a funny conversation. You can see it on Youtube now, so I recommend you check it out (especially if you are a fan of both Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter).

Do a barrel roll!

Another game I'm looking forward to is Star Fox Zero on the Wii U. While it's a remake of Star Fox 64, fact remains, 64 was an awesome game, and it looks like that there is plenty of new stuff in Zero to make it fresh and exciting. There is also a game called Star Fox Guard being released around the same time, which I'll be more than happy to buy too (if I can afford the bundle that is).

Suit up!

Another game I am looking forward too is Kirby Planet Robobot. Like Kirby Triple Deluxe, it's going to be on the Nintendo 3DS. Except in the upcoming game, Kirby's Supernova ability (that allowed it to suck up almost everything) is replaced with a robot suit. Not only does the robot suit look strong on it's own, but it looks like you'll be able to power it up even more with stickers, and combining it with Kirby's special powers. Finally, from the looks of the box art, Meta Knight is going to be in it. Hopefully this means that this game's extra mode will let you play as Meta Knight. Cause while Dedede Tour in Triple Deluxe was fun, you can't argue that Meta Knight is much more fun to play as.

How it went...

Me and my family went to Desert Star today, and it was fun. While it was called "Murder on the frontrunner express", it didn't have all that murder mystery drama stuff that I'm sick of. Instead, Desert Star, as always, made it funny, and well worth waiting for.

Coming up...

Tomorrow me and my family are going to the Desert Star again. As always, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Grateful! Omega Drive!

Sorry I didn't mention this sooner, I've been busy with other things. But on his show, Kamen Rider Ghost has gotten a new form called: the Grateful Soul. It's when Ghost combines the souls that make up his various forms into one big Eyecon. he can then summon the other ghosts to help him in battle. Kinda reminds me of Kamen Rider Gaim's Kiwami arms, and how it allowed Gaim to use the other rider's weapons. While Ghost's Grateful Soul form is cool, it has gotten me thinking, if the Grateful Soul is this strong, what will Ghost's finally form be like? Only time will tell...

XYZ Summon!

We finally got to see Kite's new deck in action. And it's pretty cool. I especially like Kite's new ace monster: Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon. Just like Jack's new ace monster Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend is based off of certain bits of trivia from Yu-gi-oh 5D's and Jack's character in it, Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon is also based off of certain bits of trivia from Yu-gi-oh Zexal and Kite's character in it. While I doubt this would happen, I'm hopping that Jack and Kite meet each other so that I can see their dragons side by side.

Monkey business...

One of the newest Studio C skits has the cast being members of London's English parliament during the 1800's. They were arguing about being relating to apes, and then going bananas. Trust me, you got to see it for yourself. The skit is called "The Real Darwinism Debate". Another fun Studio C skit I'm sure you'll enjoy.

A new meaning for the word Slack.

Lately on youtube, there's been an ad for a computer program called Slack, where a group of animals use Slack to make flying umbrellas. Even before the ad included bloopers, I thought the ad was cute, and showed what Slack could do. I do however, find it kinda strange that such a useful program is named after a word that refers to someone needing to do more, or is lazy (in this case: Slack). Still, Slack and the animal ad for it do look useful and fun.

That's no moon...

Yesterday, I saw a teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars movie: Rouge One. It looks promising to me, so I'm looking forward to seeing it for myself this December. What about you?

Megamerge!

Since Capcom hasn't been making any new Megaman games for the past few years, fans have been making a lot of their own Megaman games. One I really like is Megaman ZX Genesis. In this game, Ciel, the original creator of the Biometals (and one of the main characters of Megaman Zero), uses the Biometals on herself. Since Megaman ZX is my favorite version of Megaman, and Capcom has not done anything with Megaman ZX since Megaman ZX Advent 9 years ago, I am really excited for this fan made Megaman game, and hope the creators are able to finish it.

 

He's back...

Well, we are finally done with the Synchro Dimension (and Roger for the time being). Now Yuya and some of his friends are in the Xyz Dimension, and have just met Kite (along with his new Galaxy-Eyes dragon). However, Kite thinks that Yuya and Co. are bad guys at the moment, so Yuya's pals are going to duel Kite a little bit, giving us a chance to see Kite's new deck in action. Excited?
