Since I grew up with games like the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy on the Super Nintendo, I have always seen King K. Rool as Donkey Kong's greatest foe. So when I heard some info (that turned out to be a rumor not too long ago), about how Nintendo didn't like the kremlings, I was hurt. While the vikings from tropical freeze were okay, the bad kongs from jungle beat were kinda hallow villans, and the tikis from Donkey Kong Country Retruns were a joke. K. Rool and the kremlings were a good balance of funny and dangerous that people have a hard time creating nowadays, so the idea that Nintendo seemed to not like them really bugged me. When Donkey Kong Bananza first came out, I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it, since it didn't seem to have any villans worth fighting...however, when I found out that Nintendo's comments about the kremlings were mistranslated, and more importanly...that King K. Rool and the kremlings were in Bananza (with the appropriate respect and tributes that game creators can give to classic characters)...I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT THE GAME! Because I actually had a gaming goal WORTH pursuing, batting a worthy foe like King K. Rool for the first time in a long time. Other people have said that K. Rool's return is the best comeback story ever! And I absolutely agree with them. Cause unlike most villans nowadays, foes like K. Rool are actually good at being bad.

Mega Evolution!
Well, here I am again (after more than 12 months), but I finally have Pokemon Legends ZA, and am even playing it's mega dimension dlc. While I admit the game isn't super amazing, I do like it, and am enjoying it for the most part. I even got myself an alpha Raichu, so then I can mega evolve it into Mega Raichu Y (which is my favorite Mega Raichu by the way). So if you aren't struggling with the prices of the Nintendo Switch 2, or it's games, I say go right on ahead and buy both Legends ZA and it's dlc, cause I feel it's worth playing.

Terastallize!
With the upcoming Pokemon Legends A-Z game bringing back Mega Evolutions, I felt the need to talk a little about the Terastal Phenomenon from Scarlet and Violet. Namely how I feel about it. I'll admit, that like many vocal Pokemon fans, I find Mega Evolution to be my favorite Pokemon game mechanic. However, After playing through Scarlet, I find Terastallizing to be a solid second pick for me, over both Z moves, and Dynamaxing. Why is that you might ask...well I've got about 4 reasons. 1st, any Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, can do it. 2nd, you can adjust your Pokemon's Tera type if you wish. 3rd, it's not limited to 1 attack or 3 turns, like Z moves and Dynamax is. And 4th, Once you evolve your Tera Orb into a Stellar Orb (by meeting Terapagos), you don't need to recharge your orb after every battle you use it in at a Pokemon Center. So while not as great as Mega Evolution, Terastallizing was a step in the right direction when it comes to Pokemon game mechanics. So I have to admit that I'll miss Terastallizing, when it's no longer available in future games. But at least we'll get Mega Evolutions again in Legends A-Z, right?

It's...showtime!
Recently, I bought the new Princess Peach Showtime game on the Nintendo Switch...and I like it. Sure it's not super challenging, or something that everyone will enjoy, but for those that enjoy stuff like Princess Peach being the main playable character in a game, will enjoy this. So I hope we get more of this in the future.

Let's-a-go, do the Mario!
Today, I saw the new Super Mario Bros. Movie...AND I LOVE IT!!! Already my new favorite movie of ALL time! While there are a couple of jump scares that could surprise some younger viewers, I would still recommend it for the whole family. And I would ESPECALLY recommend that Mario Bros. fans of all ages see this movie. This is one of those video game based movies that you don't want to miss or ignore!

Legends never die!
I finally managed to see clips of the newest Kamen Rider movie that's called: Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations. For the movie, Maito Fujioka, son of Hiroshi Fujioka, portrayed his father's famous role of Takeshi Hongo (a.k.a. Kamen Rider 1 himself)! As I admired his work for the movie (which I think Maito did great with by the way), it got me thinking...As long as we respect the origin of something such as a franchise like Kamen Rider, and do our best with it, then no matter how much things change in life, certain things (and people) can stand the test of time. Meaning if present generations let themselves be touched by the good of past generations, and then do the same for future generations, Then something or someone good can live and touch people forever!

Lighting just struck twice!
They say that lighting never strikes twice, however in the case of the Sonic The Hedgehog movies, that has been proven false. The 1st one was great, and the 2nd one (which I just saw in theaters) was better! I won't spoil anything, but Sonic fans need to see both!
