Terastallize!

With the upcoming Pokemon Legends A-Z game bringing back Mega Evolutions, I felt the need to talk a little about the Terastal Phenomenon from Scarlet and Violet. Namely how I feel about it. I'll admit, that like many vocal Pokemon fans, I find Mega Evolution to be my favorite Pokemon game mechanic. However, After playing through Scarlet, I find Terastallizing to be a solid second pick for me, over both Z moves, and Dynamaxing. Why is that you might ask...well I've got about 4 reasons. 1st, any Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, can do it. 2nd, you can adjust your Pokemon's Tera type if you wish. 3rd, it's not limited to 1 attack or 3 turns, like Z moves and Dynamax is. And 4th, Once you evolve your Tera Orb into a Stellar Orb (by meeting Terapagos), you don't need to recharge your orb after every battle you use it in at a Pokemon Center. So while not as great as Mega Evolution, Terastallizing was a step in the right direction when it comes to Pokemon game mechanics. So I have to admit that I'll miss Terastallizing, when it's no longer available in future games. But at least we'll get Mega Evolutions again in Legends A-Z, right?

It's...showtime!

Recently, I bought the new Princess Peach Showtime game on the Nintendo Switch...and I like it. Sure it's not super challenging, or something that everyone will enjoy, but for those that enjoy stuff like Princess Peach being the main playable character in a game, will enjoy this. So I hope we get more of this in the future.

Let's-a-go, do the Mario!

Today, I saw the new Super Mario Bros. Movie...AND I LOVE IT!!! Already my new favorite movie of ALL time! While there are a couple of jump scares that could surprise some younger viewers, I would still recommend it for the whole family. And I would ESPECALLY recommend that Mario Bros. fans of all ages see this movie. This is one of those video game based movies that you don't want to miss or ignore!

Legends never die!

I finally managed to see clips of the newest Kamen Rider movie that's called: Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations. For the movie, Maito Fujioka, son of  Hiroshi Fujioka, portrayed his father's famous role of Takeshi Hongo (a.k.a. Kamen Rider 1 himself)! As I admired his work for the movie (which I think Maito did great with by the way), it got me thinking...As long as we respect the origin of something such as a franchise like Kamen Rider, and do our best with it, then no matter how much things change in life, certain things (and people) can stand the test of time. Meaning if present generations let themselves be touched by the good of past generations, and then do the same for future generations, Then something or someone good can live and touch people forever!

Father and Son together!

Lighting just struck twice!

They say that lighting never strikes twice, however in the case of the Sonic The Hedgehog movies, that has been proven false. The 1st one was great, and the 2nd one (which I just saw in theaters) was better! I won't spoil anything, but Sonic fans need to see both!

A certain point of view...

Hi everyone! It's me again! Things have been busy, and most of what I want to say, I do on YouTube. So those are 2 reasons why I haven't posted in so long. Anyway, I have something to say, that I feel can only be said here. Remember when I said I would never get/play Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild? Well, not only did I get it a few weeks ago, but I beat the main story a couple of days ago. Why the sudden change you might ask? Well It's because my family members who do own and play it, taught me to look at it from a different point of view. Since it isn't a typical Zelda game, don't look at it as a Zelda game, but something different, yet interesting. Thanks to their support, experience, and a players guide for the whole thing (which I only used once in a while), I finally did it. If someone kept bugging me about it, I would have never got it just despite them. But since I have a helpful and supportive family, I finally found somethings about it to like, and enjoy it. Granted some of the reasons why I didn't want to touch the game at first still bug me a bit. But they are no longer game breakers for me. As for the squeal...Well we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
